When it comes to wrapping gifts, I generally prefer solids. Glossy white, metallics, definitely brown kraft paper – I think they beat snowmen and reindeer options at the drugstore any day.
Then I usualy add fun ribbons and bows, small ornaments you name it. Not only do I like the look better, but this option works year ’round – saving time, resources and space!
But here are a few options, that either jazz up my plain packages in a new way, or may even make me rethink the solids…
1. Print your own paper from your printer, via Martha Stewart and Blueprint
2. Jazz up ribbons with old buttons … let’s face it – you have a drawer full of mix/matched ones that came with jackets, sweaters, etc. that will likely never find their home anyway.
3. This little pennant stamp roller that is particularly great when sending things in the mail, as the bows get trashed anyway.
4. Chewing the Cud makes fabric wraps that are cute, eco-friendly and reusable… a double gift for the recipient!
5. TapeSwell can jazz up bags, boxes, cards – you name it.
