Next Iron Chef

So I am not planning to do restaurant reviews, that is not my thing.  Unless we are talking about restaurants to rent for parties – but I digress.

I just cannot help but mention Graffiti in the East Village, because the adorable Chef Mehta is on Food Network’s the Next Iron Chef.  Not only does he have impeccable credentials and makes truly unique and tasty food (a combination that is unfortunately sometimes hard to come-by), but he is as friendly as can be.

If you are in the NYC, I highly suggest checking out his restaurant – otherwise let’s root for him and hope he wins!!

Of course I asked him if he won when I was there recently, but those silly contracts get in the way of any good dirt.  And yes, he is that cordial that he chats with each table and thanks everyone, while running an incredibly busy little place…
